Morongo Casino, Resort & Spa is owned and operated by the Morongo Band of Cahuilla Mission Indians. This is a casino in Southern California, located in the Inland Empire. Morongo is one of the largest casinos in California. (The largest California Casino is Pechange Resort and Casino.) This is one of the few 18 and older casinos in California.
The Morongo Indian Reservation spans more than 32,000 acres and overlooks the vistas of the Banning Pass. The casino was built to take in the beauty of the natural surroundings and give guests a place to both relax and have fun.
The casino at Morongo is huge. There is nearly 150,000 square feet of gaming available between slots, table games, poker, high limits, and more. There are 85 table games available, about 2,000 modern slot machines, and a private 13 table poker room. Morongo is associated with CalShark.com, which is a legal place for US poker players to play poker online for free. There are no payouts, but it is a great place to learn the game of poker.
The hotel is one of the few casinos in California to be honored the AAA four diamond award for excellence. The tower is the tallest building in the Inland Empire, offering great views of the region. Cielo is the Pacific steak and seafood restaurant located on the 27th flood of the casino tower. Serrano is located close to the spa, Sage, and offers up American cuisines. Sunset Bar and Grill is a more relaxed atmosphere offering a full bar next to the lazy river. Portero Canyon Buffet is a full all-you-can-eat buffet located by the cashier, just off the casino bar. For a quicker bite to eat, you can try the food court as well.
